Ello Love,
I am well, my name is Kiori. Originally from Anchorage Alaska, but I now live in San Antonio, Texas.
Here is my link as well:

This is my newest of 8 tattoos, and counting!
Well, the story behind my tattoo is rather long, but here it goes… Basically, when my grandfather was younger, he was beat by two men with 2X4’s because he was married to a white woman, and being an african american male, that was not okay (to some people) during that time. He had to have a very extreme brain surgery that only 2% of people survive, and not only did he go through it once… but twice.
I asked him once if he was scared he was going to die when he was being attacked, and during his surgery, I don’t remember his exact answer, but something that always stuck out to me was him telling me “When God’s ready for me, he will send a beautiful hot air balloon down and it will lift me up into heaven.”
He died in November 2010 of several types of cancer, and I miss him dearly.
…and so it goes, this is my tattoo, capturing his soul going to heaven in “a beautiful hot air balloon”
It was done by Matt Diaz at Southpaw Tattoo in Universal City Texas (North East of San Antonio.) He did an amazing job and has made both me and my grandfather very happy.
